Quiero contarte de forma sencilla qué celulares realmente valen la pena, según el dinero que estás dispuesto a gastar.

IPhone 11

Te lo recomendamos solo si realmente necesitas un IPhone, ya sea porque en tu escuela o trabajo se usa mucho el ecosistema de Apple.

Desventajas:
Aunque el IPhone 11 aún tiene la última versión de IOS, ya no recibirá futuras actualizaciones, lo que puede afectar su vida útil a largo plazo. Además, su diseño y rendimiento pueden sentirse algo anticuados, y sigue usando el puerto Lightning, lo cual puede ser una molestia si ya usas dispositivos con USB-C.

Lo bueno:
Se puede encontrar por precios que van de $5,000 a $6,500 MXN (338 USD), lo cual lo hace una opción accesible si buscas un IPhone funcional a bajo costo.

IPhone 13 Pro

Una excelente segunda opción si buscas un IPhone potente y con materiales de alta calidad, sin gastar tanto como en un modelo actual.

Desventajas:
Al ser un modelo con varios años en el mercado, es difícil encontrarlo nuevo y sellado. Aunque todavía hay unidades nuevas, no vale la pena comprarlas, ya que suelen costar hasta $20,000 MXN (1,040 USD), precio con el que ya puedes conseguir un IPhone 16 nuevo. Por eso, lo ideal es buscarlo renovado o reacondicionado.

Ventajas:
A pesar de seguir usando el puerto lightning, ofrece un rendimiento muy rápido, aumento óptico en la cámara y un diseño premium que se siente sólido en la mano.

IPhone 15 plus

Una gran opción si buscan un IPhone moderno, con excelente batería y sin gastar lo que cuesta un modelo Pro.

Desventajas:
No cuenta con zoom óptico, y solo incluye dos cámaras: la principal y la gran angular.

Ventaja:
Ya incluye el nuevo puerto USB-C y una batería de larga duración, incluso mayor que la del IPhone 15 Pro Max, gracias a su pantalla y procesador más eficientes.
Es ideal si te gusta crear contenido, ya que ofrece funciones como modo cine, cámara lenta de alta calidad, y una pantalla amplia que facilita la edición o visualización. Además, tiene un rendimiento fluido y no se siente lento en ningún momento.

IPhone 15 Pro Max

Una excelente opción si quieres todo lo nuevo de Apple sin llegar al precio del IPhone 16 Pro Max.

Ventajas:
Aunque el IPhone 16 Pro Max es la versión más reciente, no ofrece cambios significativos en la experiencia frente al IPhone 15 Pro Max.
Este modelo solo tiene un año de diferencia y ofrece prácticamente lo mismo, por un precio más razonable.

Actualmente puedes encontrarlo en unos $30,000 MXN (1,560 USD) en la versión de 512 GB. Incluye lo mejor de Apple.

Desventajas:
No tiene el nuevo botón de acción ni el botón de cámara rápido que trae el IPhone 16, aunque son funciones que muchos usuarios probablemente no usarán con frecuencia.
Otra desventaja es su precio elevado, pero sigue siendo una compra inteligente para quienes desean lo más nuevo sin pagar demás por una diferencia mínima entre generaciones.
